There is nothing more breathtaking than the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland!!! The day we went there was amazing! It was a beautiful, rare, sunny day Ireland! I still can’t believe our luck!!!
We headed out from our hotel in Killarney after a late night out at the pubs… We even hit up the dance club that was right next door till the wee hours of the morning. We started the morning with a wonderful breakfast at Murphy’s Pub Killarney where we had stayed for 2 nights. From there, it was about 2.5 hours drive north with lots of lovely sight-seeing on the way.
There is a small €6 fee to enter. But, it is well worth it!!! You could spend all day there taking pictures and enjoying the beautiful view. There’s a lovely gift shop and caferia type restaurant if you need a snack. You can actually walk all the way to the town of Doolin along the coast; 5k away. There are 3 viewing platforms; the highest is 700meters about the sea level.
Make sure to walk all the way up to O’Brien’s Tower for amazing views from the north!!!!
After we left the Cliffs of Moher, we headed south again. We stopped and wandered around the grounds of the 5-star, Adare Castle Hotel and Dromoland Castle Hotel, taking pictures.
We then headed to our stop for the night at Bunratty Manor Hotel that just down the road from Bunratty Castle where we had an amazing dinner and Folk Show. Definitely well worth the $52/personwe spent for the night of dinner and entertainment.
After the dinner we spent the evening taking in the local charm at Durty Nelly’s Pub!!! My friend, Courtney, was even serenaded by the local boys! Only in Ireland!!! Definitely one of the most fun nights we had in Ireland!!
