Hello World!!!! Welcome to my travel blog!!! I LOVE to Travel!!!! I work hard just so I can travel (at least that what I tell myself). I’ve always wanted to see the world. So, finally after years and years of school and raising children I can travel and on occasion I am paid to do it!
Let me introduce myself in case you haven’t read my bio. I am a mother, wife, full-time Nurse Midwife, and oldest sibling of 4. My two sisters: Melissa and Amy, our mother Joan, and our cousin Sarah love to travel together around the world every few years (usually bringing along a few friends too)!!! My husband and I also travel several times a year to medical conferences in FUN locations and beach vacations. So I’ll be sharing those travels with you too!!!
I LOVE to Travel!!!! Now that I’ve finished my doctorate and Nurse Midwifery training I’ve been able to travel a lot more the past few years. I’m also very lucky that my job requires yearly partially paid continuing education that I usually take advantage of in great locations for medical conferences.
In this blog, my sisters and I hope to help you see the world through our eyes and help with ideas for your next trip. My sisters and I also LOVE to plan everything ourselves from the hotels, stops, castles to see, cars to rent, and when to go!!! We will be all writing posts and posting pictures. So we really hope you enjoy sharing in our Sisterhood of the Traveling Plaid adventures!! We hope you also enjoy our favorite recipes, household tips, and fun crafts!!!
What’s with the ‘Plaid’? We ALL ❤ plaid everything! Clothes, scarves, accessories, ect…. Our first big girls trip was to Ireland, Scotland, and Paris in 2012. We were all a little obsessed with plaid before that trip, but even more so after!!! We love to include our Irish and Scottish heritage in our planning and decor at home!
